This is a great regular-use shoe if you need ankle support to just get around. I am 70+ years old and the 888 high top has helped me avoid ankle surgery for more than 5 years. In that time I have purchased 5 New Balance high tops(2 pairs of 880s and 3 pairs of 888s). I have been more than satisfied with the quality, fit and appearance.

I love these shoes. They are really light on your feet. The absorb cushioning is great. I own the MR 1906\'s and 758\'s along with many of the lifestyle shoes. I will continue to wear NB\'s because of my new knowledge of the products that this great shoe company offers! Nike cant compare!
