After reading reviews I purchased. The reviews are right on. Very comfortable cushioning and excellent heel to toe transition. Comes in widths, made in USA, and excellent quality / value. I use these for brisk walks and jogging, a 59 year old just off of open heart surgery-these are instrumental in my continued recovery. You won\'t regret this purchase.

I am on my 4th or 5th pair of 498's, I've lost count. I don't run but my feet are narrow and have been hard to fit my whole life. I am 63 and these shoes (which come in a B width!) are near perfect for me in comfort and fit. I don't run but wear them all day and walk about 2 miles each day. I live in Phoenix and they are also the coolest shoes I have ever owned (literally). Everytime I log in to buy the next pair I expect they will no longer be available (being the optimist that I am). So far so good.
