As a moderate overpronator, I have been running in the MR850 series for years; 856, 857, 858, 859 and now the MR850. The first thing I noticed about this shoe was the lightness, which can prove to be good and bad. However, in this case, it is bad. Whatever material they used on previous versions to provide cushioning in the front of the shoe, they sure skimped on this model. After about 2 months, I fell like the inside of my foot, from my big toe to where my arch begins, is about ready to hit the road. Terrible cushioning in this area. NB more or less ruined a good product for me. I had to go to an outlet and buy 2 pairs of MR859\'s so I won\'t have to worry about dealing with this model again. NB, please leave well enough alone when you make a good shoe. Just FYI, the MR856 and MR858 were the best models of this shoe.
