This is the most expensive shoe I have ever bought so I really had high expectations. Having had Morton's Neuroma surgery on both feet and an ankle injury, comfortable walking shoes have always been hard for me to find. Those who have had Morton surgery know the dead feeling pain you can get when a shoe does not fit right. I went to Fleet Feet and they guy who helped me was fabulous. He understood my needs, observed my gait, how I stood and ran and then brought out two different shoes. I picked the 1064. After walking 4.5 miles for 3 straight days I developed a large blister under my big toe on one foot. This has never happened before so I doctored and wrapped it for the next 4 days and it went away and since then they have been the best shoes I have ever had. I will definately be buying me more 1064s. Good job Fleet Feet and NB. I only gave 3 stars on style because apparently the athletic shoe industry cannot come up with an athletic shoe that is stylish so until they do, 3 is all you get from me.

I bought these shoes to replace my 768\'s. I was told that I have a neutral arch and stride, and I put quite a few miles on my shoes so I thought these would be perfect for me. I was very excited to try them out on my first run. The cushioning is superb; I feel like I\'m running on a cloud in these shoes. Unfortunately they do not fit my feet well at all. Every run I go on my feet go numb and I get blisters on the balls of my feet and the backs of my heel. If I try to make the heel slip and blisters better by tying it tighter, then I have more trouble with my feet going numb. If I try to loosen my laces to resolve the numbness- my foot shifts around in the shoe more. I\'ve never had this problem with any of the NB shoes I have bought in the past and I have been pretty disappointed in the fit of these shoes. Unfortunately the numbness becomes so bad that I can\'t run more than 3 miles in them. For now I will have to continue to run in my 768\'s until I figure out what to do with these new ones.
