I really wanted the 587 to be the shoe for me, but I kept buying the 587, first in a 11.5 D, then 11 D, then 11 B, all of them extremely too big for my 11.5 D size foot. I can not believe how huge these shoes are made! Even the 993's I ended up with, I had to go with a narrow B width. I can buy ANY Nike shoe in a size 11.5 and it will fit perfectly.

Traded 1123's in for these. Glad NB has a nice trade-in/refund policy. These are much better fit than the 1123's. The 1123's must be for severe overpronators (your foot is a flat as a 2x4) and the 587 are for people who have *some* arch. I did experience some blisters one my big toe but it wasn't severe and I'm sure is attenuated with the use padded socks. Style is still lacking. Seems as though no one makes a cool looking motion-control shoe.
