Sizing doesn't match other N.B. shoes. EE width two narrow in toes while other NB shoes fit great

The other reviews about the small size of these shoes are exactly right. They run both narrow and a bit short. That is surprising because the last is supposed to have them run wide. I am a 9.5 2E in New Balance shoes, but that size is uncomfortably small. I returned them and ordered a 9.5 4E and they fit very well. I cannot speak to the durability, but they are both comfortable and supportive and make walking quite pleasant. Really, this is a great shoe. I am lucky in that I had another width up to go, but if you normally need a 4E, then you will not be able to use these shoes, and more is the pity. I am also happy that my toes aren't just a bit longer, or the length would be a problem too. I wonder if New Balance has poor quality control over the manufacturing plant for these shoes and the wrong size is being produced. Yes, they are off that much. In summary, with my initial use, these are really good shoes and very comfortable, but I am going to ding them one star because the sizing is so obviously wrong. That really shouldn't be a problem in a shoe at this price point.
