I'm a Nurse & I work 10 hour shifts. This is the lightest, most comfortable shoe I have worn in my 25 year career! I have plantar fasciitis as many of us do. I order a half size bigger for work as I take out the insole & put my orthotics in. Please, please, please don't ever stop making these! I'm ordering my 6th & 7th pair! I switch my shoes every other day as it gives them time to air out. I get 2 pair every August for work. Now I'm ordering them for travel & play as well! Love them!

I purchased this shoe at an outlet store on a whim, having owned NB's in the past, but I had gotten away from them. I wore my previously broken in shoes the 'first' day at the theme park we were visiting, and felt nothing but heel pain and fatigue after only a 1/2 day. I wore my 1442's straight out of the box, as did my best friend that bought an identical pair. I was amazed at how good they felt, eben after all day of walking in them...12+ hours later, and they still felt great. I did not experience the same heel pain, and very little fatigue. Buying another pair (or 2).
